It is with heavy hearts we announce the accidental drowning of Paul Fournier at his retirement home in Jerome, Mich.
Paul was born March 18, 1942 in Fort Frances, Ont. to Emile and Mary Fournier.
He spent his lifelong career as an aeronautical engineer at Aeroquip in Jackson, Mich.
Paul is survived by his loving wife, Joyce; three children, Nicole, Coté, and Brandon; and two precious granddaughters, Prielle and Norah.
Paul also leaves behind his sisters, Elaine (Rosaire) Mercier, Jane Johnstone, and Donna (John) Handberg of Fort Frances, Ont., and Gale (Hugh) Niblock of Midland, Ont.; brother, Larry (Patrice) Fournier of Minneapolis, Mn.; and a special aunt, Bertha Ossachuk of Fort Frances, Ont.
He was predeceased by two sisters, Joan Dietrich and Jean Lambert; and a young nephew, Brad Johnstone of Alaska.
As per Paul’s wishes, he was cremated.
A private family gathering was held in Michigan.
