It is with great sadness that the family of Paul Belluz announces his passing early on Monday, Feb. 2, 2015 at the age of 60 after a brief illness.
Paul was born March 13, 1954 in Fort Frances, Ont. to Eden (Red) and Melba Belluz.
He was predeceased by his father, Eden (Red) Belluz.
Paul is survived by his mother, Melba, and brothers, Wilfred (Lynn), Roy (Gael), Edward (Sherri), and Danilo (Kirsten).
He also is survived by his nieces and nephews, Jennifer Cain (Clay), Melissa Busch (Jamie), Shane Belluz (Kelsey), Kayla Belluz (Josh), Greg Belluz (Becky), Anthony Belluz (Toni), Annabelle Belluz, and Alison Belluz; grand-nieces and nephews, Ashley Belluz, Elizabeth Cain, Mackenzie Cain, Madalynn Cain, Cameron Cain, Carley Busch, Jonathan Busch, Alexandra Belluz, and Noah Belluz; and great-grand niece, Ava Belluz.
He also leaves a large extended family at Fort Frances Community Living to mourn his passing.
Paul worked for Arc Industries and Good Impressions Printing for many years with all his friends. He enjoyed bowling, going on trips for special concerts, and sporting events.
But wrestling was his number-one love. He always cheered the loudest when his favourite wrestler appeared, which changed numerous times throughout the years.
His nieces and nephews always will fondly cherish “Santa” (Paul) at Christmas. Each year, a new elf was chosen to help “Santa,” even if they were an angry elf, to help deliver the gifts since “Santa” refused to deliver.
Cremation has taken place, with internment at a later date.
A celebration of Paul’s life will be held Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015 from 1-3 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion Br. #29 in Fort Frances.
The honourary pallbearers will be his friends from Fort Frances Community Living.
The family gratefully requests that in memoriam donations be made to the Fort Frances and District Association for Community Living.
