As the sun was setting a brilliant orange on January 4, Patricia Lynne Armstrong (Lynne) made her last peaceful journey with her loving family by her side.
Lynne, born December 23, 1948, surprised the world with her spark, determination and strong will. Lynne (wife, mom, grandma), filled our lives with passion and colour. Her size did not prevent her from being a powerful force and she would do anything to fiercely protect those she loved. Lynne was passionate about so many things, especially her husband Jack, her children, their partners and her grandchildren. She loved to cook, especially if it meant everyone was going to be together. Her passion for music, especially Elvis, as well as her love to dance, brought much life to many gatherings of friends and loved ones. Lynne also loved to travel and had countless adventures over the years with Jack and those she loved. Often, she would inspire dancing and laughter into the wee hours, creating memories that will last a lifetime. She was happiest when she had all of her family together, especially when all of her grandsons and their girls were there.
Left to mourn are her husband Jack, the love of her life, who she shared 55 years; her daughters Carla (Darren) Larson, Trish (Brent) Larson; her son J.P. Armstrong (Stephanie Buckshot); and her true joys, her grandsons Ben Larson, Nick Larson, Wesley Buckshot and Joseph Armstrong. Lynne is also survived by her brothers Ray Armit and Dick Armit; many nieces and nephews; and her dear and longtime friend Rose York.
Lynne was predeceased by her mom and dad, Leona and Alex Armit; her sisters Dodie Wickstrom Peterson, Betty McBride, Joan Krukoski; and her brother David Armit.

Lynne lived her life fully on her terms, with passion for what she believed in, adventure and most of all love. She shone brightly and lived her life her way and lived it well. She will be missed by all who loved her.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., at Northridge Funeral Home, Emo, Ontario.
