Patricia “Pat” Lorraine Maurer passed away peacefully in Fort Frances on October 11, 2025, one day before her 82nd birthday.
Born on October 12, 1943, Pat lived a majority of her adult life in Phoenix, where she built a full life centred on her marriage, her beloved dogs, and her passions. For many years, Pat worked diligently as a bookkeeper, a profession that suited her sharp mind and meticulous nature. Outside of work, her greatest love was her husband and canine companions. She was rarely without a dog by her side, and she dedicated herself to their care and happiness, treating them as her own children. Devoted fans of the ice, Pat and her husband Lynn passionately followed the Phoenix Coyotes hockey team and attended their games frequently.
Pat was preceded in death by her beloved husband Lynn Maurer; her parents William and Vera Fedorchuk; and her sister Darya Fedorchuk. She leaves behind family and friends who will miss her kindness and quiet strength.
A private memorial service has been held to celebrate her life.
