Patricia Gail Wowchuk, 78, of Thunder Bay, Ontario, died Thursday, March 22, 2018, in Thunder Bay.
Born Jan. 15, 1940, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Pat moved to Fort Frances, Ontario, as a small child with her parents, Malcolm and Winnifred MacLeod.
Following graduation from Fort Frances High School, she began employment in the mill office. She then worked for Wilkins Flower Shop, Indian Affairs, and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
After leaving the RCMP, she moved to Jamaica for several years.
Following retirement, she moved back to Canada.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Winnifred in April 1988, and Malcolm in November 2003; and her husband, William, July 15, 1987.
Pat is survived by her daughter, Donna (Joe) Kneisz of Fort Frances, and grandchildren, Jared Anderson and Zachary Anderson of Vancouver, British Columbia, and Macy Anderson of Fort Frances; son, William (Kathleen) Wowchuk of Thunder Bay, and grandchildren, Lindsay Wowchuk and Billy Wowchuk of Thunder Bay.
Per Pat’s wishes, no funeral services are planned.
