Patricia Gail Wowchuk, 78, of Thunder Bay, Ont., passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2018 in Thunder Bay.
Born Jan. 15, 1940, in Winnipeg, Man., Pat moved to Fort Frances, Ont. as a small child with her parents, Malcolm and Winnifred MacLeod.
Following graduation from Fort Frances High School, she began employment in the mill office. She then worked for Wilkins Flower Shop, Indian Affairs, and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
After leaving the RCMP, she moved to Jamaica for several years. Following retirement, she moved back to Canada.
Pat was predeceased by her parents, Winnifred in April, 1988, and Malcolm in November, 2003; and her husband, William, on July 15, 1987.
Pat is survived by her daughter, Donna (Joe) Kneisz of Fort Frances, Ont. and grandchildren, Jared Anderson and Zachary Anderson of Vancouver, B.C., and Macy Anderson of Fort Frances, Ont.; and son, William (Kathleen) Wowchuk of Thunder Bay, Ont. and grandchildren, Lindsay Wowchuk and Billy Wowchuk of Thunder Bay, Ont.
Per Pat’s wishes, no funeral services are planned.
