Mr. Norman Lyle Meyers of Wildwood, Alta. passed away Monday, Aug. 16, 1999 at the age of 51.
Left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory are his loving wife, Linda; and his daughter, Nona and husband, Murray Bratt, and their children, Sandra, Brian, and Laura, all of Hinton, Alta.
Also surviving is his mother, Mrs. Agnes Meyers and his brother, Robert (Beatrice) Meyers, all of Emo, Ont.
Norman was predeceased by his father, Hans; one brother, George; and one sister, Charlotte.
Friends and family paid their final respects at the Wildwood Chapel on Wednesday, Aug. 18, 1999 from 7-9 p.m.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Aug. 19, 1999 at 2 p.m. from the Wildwood Community Centre in Wildwood, with Pastor Terry Luclow officiating.
Interment followed in Wildwood Memorial Gardens.
A memorial service is planned in Emo, Ont. at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests in memoriam donations be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta, 10985-124 St., Edmonton, Alta., T5M 9Z9.
A donation to the Trans Canada Trail also will be made in Norman’s memory by Edson Funeral Home Ltd.
