Norma Jean Jordan, age 52, of Lac La Croix First Nation passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2013 in International Falls, Minnesota.
She was born on Sept. 17, 1961 of Fort Frances, Ontario. She loved being with family and friends. Norma Jean enjoyed being outdoors, attending pow-wows and dancing. She was very outgoing and social.
She loved to help; taking others in under her wing no matter what the situation. Norma Jean cherished her grandkids, nephews and nieces.
She is survived by her daughters, Richilda Jordan (Randy) and their children Darius, Taylor, Ethan, Connor and Lincoln Morrisseau, and Tina Jordan and her children Shaelyn, McKenna and Keion Jordan; siblings, Alice (Robert) Chisel, Dora Ottertail, Norman Jordan (Faith), Dorothy Jordan (Leslie), Frank Jordan Jr., Melba Jordan and Harvey Jordan; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Norma Jean was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Helen Jordan, and niece, Marilyn Blesi.
A traditional wake will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at 3 p.m. at the Round House on Lac La Croix First Nation, ON with funeral services on Wednesday, July 10, 2013.
Interment will take place at the Lac La Croix First Nation Cemetery.
The pallbearers will be Norma Jean’s family and friends.
