NADINE ECKERT

Nadine Eckert, 85, of International Falls, Mn., passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2007 at the Falls Good Samaritan Care Center in International Falls.
Nadine was born July 8, 1921 in Canada. She grew up in Canada and sang in a band. She moved to Littlefork, Mn. in 1967 and then in 2003 moved to International Falls.
The former Nadine Bezruckak was united in marriage to James Alexander Eckert on Feb. 6, 1953.
Nadine loved playing canasta, bingo, doing craft work, and enjoying music.
She was predeceased by her husband, James Eckert; parents, Todor “Fred” and Domka “Dora” Bezruchak; and daughter, Judith.
Nadine is survived by her sons, Ronald Eckert of Aurora, Colo. and Richard Eckert of Annandale, Va.; daughter, Dorothy Eckert; and three grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Monday May 7, 2007 at 2 p.m. at Riverview Cemetery in Fort Frances, Ont.
