Murray Arthur Pollard, 76, of Fort Frances, Ont., passed away Monday, March 30, 2009 at La Verendrye General Hospital in Fort Frances.
He was born Oct. 13, 1932 in Pinewood, Ont. to the late Arthur and Ida Pollard.
He especially enjoyed time with his grandchildren, as well as his time at the lakes and doing carpentry work.
Murray is survived by his wife, Marg Pollard; sons, Shawn (Wanda), Trevor, Dennis, and Michael; and grandchildren, Tyson, Riley, Kevin, Jamie, Anna, Ashley, Doug, Dennis, Sara, and Josh.
Also surviving are his brother, Bob (Alice); and sisters, Shelby (Larry) Benoit and Jessie (Mitch) Kawulia.
He was predeceased by his parents, Ida and Arthur; son, Kevin; and sister-in-law, Jeanne.
At Murray’s request, there will be no service.
Cremation has taken place, with interment to be in Riverview Cemetery in Fort Frances.
