Morris E. Loveday

 It is with great sadness that the family of Morris E. Loveday announces his passing on Sunday, Oct. 1, 2006 at LaVerendrye General Hospital in Fort Frances, Ont. at the age of 44.
Morris was born in Emo, Ont. on June 2, 1962 to Beatrice and Lawrence Loveday.
In his years of work, Morris was employed by the Red Dog Inn, Arrowhead Camp, E&G Custom Sawing, Gary & Morris Judson, Northern Lights Camp, and Dave Burt Forest Products.
Morris loved the outdoors and especially summertime, when he would go fishing. His hobbies included jigsaw puzzles, word puzzles, and playing cribbage with friends.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially with his mother, whom he loved dearly. He spent much time at his sister and brother-in-laws’ farm in Devlin, where he loved taking care of the chickens and would always have a funny story to tell when he came home.
Morris had a big heart and was always there when you needed him. He was giving and never asking for anything in return, and will be truly missed.
Morris was predeceased his father, Lawrence; grandparents, Leonard and Mildred Loveday, and Edward Holborn; uncle, Dennis Loveday; niece, Hailey Loveday; and great-nephews, Justin and Cameron Ogier.
He also was predeceased by his friend, Sandy (Siiter) Swiston.
Morris is lovingly remembered by his mother, Beatrice; sister, Sandra (Ron) Ogier of Devlin, Ont.; brothers, Glen and Gary of Fort Frances, Ont., Warren (Tammy), Keith, and Lindsey, all of Emo, Ont., Todd (Rene) Shaw of Thunder Bay, Ont., and grandmother Annie Holborn of Fort Frances.
He also is survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
As well, Morris leaves behind special friends, Kathy and Dean Woolsey, David McQuaker, Noni and Sorel Chabot, Gerald and Joan Gamie, and Dave Swiston.
Cremation has taken place at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Thunder Bay.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
