Molly J. Stout, 66, of Marshfield, Wis., passed away Sunday, Dec. 4, 2016 at her home with her husband, Dave, of 47 years by her side.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Dec. 9, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at St. John’s Catholic Church in Marshfield, where the visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. until service time.
Rev. Daniel Sedlacek will officiate, with interment to take place in Hillside Cemetery in Marshfield.
Molly was born on Jan. 10, 1950 in Fort Frances, Ont. to Anton and Catherine Munch.
She married David G. Stout on Aug. 15, 1969.
Molly was a devoted mother, friend, and caretaker of many. She was an advocate for victims of domestic abuse at PDC (Personal Development Center) in Marshfield for more than 20 years.
She worked tirelessly, using her considerable advocacy skills, to help women of various backgrounds through harrowing life events. Many of these women, and their children, have reached out to express their sincere gratitude for her hand in changing the course of their lives for the better.
Molly is survived by her husband, David, and their children, Danielle Stout of Marshfield, Wis., Christine (Tim) Wittman of Minnesota, Catherine Mellesmoan of Minnesota, and Yardira Palma of Marshfield, Wis.
She was predeceased by her parents; and siblings, Anton and Catherine Much, and Pete, Lorne, and little Tony Munch.
