Mrs. Mildred Roblin, of Fort Frances, Ont., passed away Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2007 at the age of 97.
Mildred will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by three daughters, Barbara (husband Jim) Archer of Cochrane, Alta., Maxine Levesque of Ottawa, Ont., and Arlene Urquhart of Ottawa, Ont.; three grandchildren, Pamela (husband Parviz) Archer of Toronto, Ont., Mark (partner Tammy) Levesque of Ottawa, Ont., and David (wife Monica) Levesque of Ottawa, Ont.; six great-grandchildren; and special friend/step-granddaughter, Pat Miller (husband Bob, sons Jason and Jamie) of Brandon, Man.
Mildred was predeceased by her first husband, William (Bill) Urquhart in 1954; her second husband, Phillip Roblin in 1995; son, Keith Urquhart in 1986; grandson, Michael Levesque in 1980; and sister, Anne Logue in 2003.
Mildred and her first husband, Bill, operated Urquhart’s Clothing and Confectionery until his death in 1954. Mildred lived most of her life in Fort Frances, except for eight years of retirement, when she and her husband, Phil, lived in Arnprior, Ont.
The family would like to thank Dr. Nugent and the staff of Rainycrest Home for the Aged for the concerned care that was given to Mildred. They also would like to thank Susan Johnstone and Ruth McHarg for their kindness and assistance.
At Mildred’s request, a funeral will not be held.
