MICHAEL R. TRUAX
Michael R. Truax, of Minnetonka, Mn., passed away on Sept. 26, 2007 after a short illness.
He had contracted Blastomycosis while working on a project in Canada.
Mike was born Nov. 14, 1944 to Ellsworth and Hazel Truax in Fort Frances, Ont.
He was predeceased by his mother and father; sister, Keitha Truax; and granddaughter, Alicia Truax.
Mike retired from a life-long career in meat cutting and began a construction business with his two sons, David and Michael.
He enjoyed working with his hands, fishing at the cabin in Canada, cooking for his family and friends, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Mike is survived by his children, Teryl (Truax) Roy, David and Michelle (Huber) Truax, and Michael and Keisa (Kelly) Truax; grandchildren, Nathan, Katherin, Chandlar, Emily, and Jacob; his current wife, Anne Truax; and former wife, Joy (Laurin) Truax.
Memorial services were held Sept. 29, 2007 at the Huber Funeral Home in Excelsior, Mn.
