MICHAEL (MIKE) WODELL

In loving memory of Michael Wodell, 87, of Crozier, Ont., who passed away Thursday, May 22, 2003 in Atikokan, Ont.
Michael was born Jan. 24, 1916 in Rivers, Man. to Sophia and Kasmir. He was united in marriage to Tamara (Mary) Kliner on Aug.
22, 1939.
He owned and operated the Crozier garage for many years and after selling the business, worked as a grader operator for Alberton Township until retirement.
Mike was an avid golfer, enjoyed playing pool, and could always be found tinkering.
He was predeceased by his parents; wife, Mary on June 24, 1981; sons, Ken and Gerry; brothers, Henry and Florek (Slim); and sisters, Mary, Nellie, and Lena.
Mike leaves behind his grandson, Kyle, and wife, Yvonne, of Thunder Bay, Ont.; granddaughter, Michelle and husband, Bob Plumridge, of Calgary, Alta.; greatgrandchildren, Brandon, Stephen, Christopher, Kylee, and Marissa; daughter-in-law, June Wodell, of Fort Frances, Ont.; nieces, Betty and Sandy; and nephews, Bill, Ed, and Donny.
He also is survived by his loving companion, Yvette St. Pierre, and all her children and their families who loved him like a father along with all his close friends from Atikokan.
We will love him and miss him forever.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 27, 2003 at 2 p.m.
at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances, Ont., with Deacon Bob Grynol officiating.
Cremation has taken place in Thunder Bay, Ont., with interment in Riverview Cemetery in Fort Frances.
Honourary pallbearers will be Ed Dutka, Bill Dutka, Peter St.
Pierre, George Hampton, and Waldie Kliner.
