It is with great sorrow that the family of Melissa Dawn Clark announce her sudden passing on Friday, Oct. 22, 2004 at La Verendrye Hospital in Fort Frances. Ont.
She was born Sept. 12, 1985 in Sudbury, Ont.
Melissa battled with diabetes most of her life, and her family is very grateful for all the help she received from the medical staff both in Thunder Bay and Fort Frances.
She will be greatly missed by her father, James; sisters, Jennifer Clark of Emo, Ont., Crystal Burton of Atikokan, Ont., and Tracy Batson of Thunder Bay, Ont.; nephew, Austin Hudson; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and extended family.
Melissa was predeceased by her mother, Shelly; grandparents, Rudy and Theodore Clark, and grandfather, Stanley Idzi.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2004 at 10 a.m. at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances, with Mr. Mark Fish officiating.
Cremation will take place in Thunder Bay, and she will be interred with her mother in the Kakabeka Falls Cemetery.
