It is with great sadness that the family of Megan Alexandria Johnson announces that she has left us to join the spirit world and to join all her family who awaits her with all their love.
Megan was born December 5, 1989 in Fort Frances, Ont. where she lived the first 17 years of her life.
She lived in numerous places as a young adult, from Minneapolis to Toronto, where she lived for the last 12 months. Megan was drawn to the city and loved the life it offered her.
Megan had a tenacious personality; there was only one way to do things—her way. She had a large respect for her culture and was very curious about the religion and beliefs of others.
She was protective of her family and friends, if she considered you one she had your back no matter what. Megan was great with dogs and had a real knack for training them.
She leaves behind her mother, Jocelyn; father. Steve; sisters Raylene (Kaleb), Mary; brothers, Wade, Leonard and Steve Jr. (Christine); her three nieces and one nephew and many others who called her Auntie.
Megan also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A visitation will be held on Friday, Aug. 12, 2016 from 7 until 9 p.m. at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Aug. 13, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances with Pastor Ken Johnson officiating.
Cremation will take place following the service and a private family interment will be held at a later date.
