In loving memory of mother, grandmother, and sister, the family of Maxine Lillian Mueller wishes to announce her passing on Monday, Oct. 30, 2006 at La Verendrye Hospital in Fort Frances, Ont.
Maxine loved life. She survived cancer for 26 years and celebrated each day to the fullest. She especially enjoyed being surrounded by her family and friends for celebrations at home and at the cabin.
Grandma had a knack for turning ordinary days into special events.

She married Paul Mueller June 2, 1956. Together they raised three sons, of whom they were very proud.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons and their wives, Terry (Kathy), Brian (Bonny), and Bill (Monique), and her grandchildren, Andrew, Nicole, Sarah, Samantha, Jocelyn, and Hannah.
Also missing her are her sister, Karen (Alan Burdett); and nephew, nieces, and many friends.
Maxine was predeceased by her husband, Paul; parents, William and Joyce Nelson; and grandson, Michael Mueller.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Nov. 2, 2006 at 2 p.m. at the Knox United Church in Fort Frances.
<*c>What is a Grandma?
A grandma is warm hugs
and sweet memories.
She remembers all of your accomplishments
and forgets all of your mistakes.
She is someone you can tell your secrets and worries to,
and she hopes and prays
that all your dreams come true.
She always loves you,
no matter what.
She can see past temper tantrums
and bad moods,
and makes it clear that they
don’t affect how precious
you are to her.
She is an encouraging word and a tender touch.
She is full of proud smiles.
She is the one person in the world
who loves you with all her heart,
who remembers the child you were
and cherishes the person
you’ve become.
