In loving memory of Mary Louise Vivier (nee Cochrane), 64 years of age, who passed away at her home in Rose Manor on September 3, 2021.
Mary was born in Emo, Ont. on October 13, 1956.
She always had a good sense of humour. She genuinely cared for others. She had a magnetic personality, telling everybody to “have a beautiful day.”
Her hobbies/interests were bingo and medicine picking. Since she acquired her car, she left on the spur of the moment, travelling wherever she wished to go. At home she loved to do her jigsaw puzzles and she also loved knitting for her grandchild.
She is survived by a sister Lila Boshkaykin of Seine River; Albert Cochrane Jr. of Fort Frances and her husband Russel Vivier; her children Ronda, Jolin, (Kenny), Lyle, Trina and Carrie; grandchildren Meghan, Ethen, Adam, Terilyn, Joseph, Kitana, Silas, Skylar, Hannah, Elaine, Araya, James, and Clinton; her great-grandchildren, Arielle, Benjamin, Clarence.

Also surviving are her nieces Lorna Cochrane, Sandra Cochrane, Janet Johnson, Marcella Spoon, Tina Spoon, Mildred Harper, Edna Copenace, Judy Cochrane Tuesday, Joanie Spoon, Charlene Calder, Sophie Cochrane, Marilyn Landon; and nephews Brian Cochrane, Nathan Boshkaykin, Elmer Cochrane, Roy Cochrane, Stewart and Teddy Tom, Delbert Copence, Victor Copenace, Larry and Gary Cochrane; grandnieces and nephews Brenda, Beverley, Joe, Alex, Derrick, Baby Janet Jr., Michael, Cassandra, BJ, Ashlee.
Over the years she worked at various jobs making a positive impact in all places she worked.
Mary was predeceased by her parents Albert Cochrane Sr. and Mary Cochrane (nee Black); and special uncle John Black; 12 sisters and three brothers.
A traditional wake was held at the Rainy River First Nation Gym on Monday, September 6, 2021 from 4 p.m. followed by traditional service on Tuesday September 7, 2021 at 10 a.m.
Interment will be held at the family plot at the hill on Rainy River First Nation.
