MARY LEGARRIE

In loving memory of Mary (Mayme, Nan) Legarrie, 87, of Fort Frances, Ont., who passed away peacefully at La Verendrye General Hospital in Fort Frances on Sunday, Nov. 14, 1999.
Nan is survived by her two daughters, Lillian Morrison and Loretta McCormack, both of Fort Frances, Ont.; and daughter-in-law, Jo-Ann (Tom) Columbe of Littlefork, Mn.
Also surviving are grandchildren, Dawn Marie (Wayne) Strey, Juli Ann (John) Burnette, Jon Legarrie, Jill (Dennis) Wasson, Kent (Sandra) McCormack, Marla Bekesi, Rosanne (Real) DeGagne, and Paul Morrison; 13 great-grandchildren, Ryan and Andy Holler, Kyle and Leslee Kimble, Natalie and Corrina Legarrie, Kyra and Kalan Wasson, Kendra and Dustin McCormack, Monique and Jessica Bekesi, and Elizabeth DeGagne; sister, Dorothy Kerr of Winnipeg, Man.; extended family, Wayne, Gwen, and Angela Herbert, Dennis Holdnick, Jean Scheirer, and Roma Novak; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Leonel on March 24, 1966; parents, Gladys and Francis Sanders; son, Oliver (Bud) Legarrie; and her “adopted” daughter, Alma Audette Haver.
Memorial services were held Tuesday, Nov. 16, 1999 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Fort Frances, with Father Eugene Whyte officiating.
Cremation has taken place.
Honourary pallbearers were her grandchildren.
