Mary Barnard (Melnick), of Fort Frances, Ont., peacefully went to be with her Lord and Saviour on Saturday, April 2, 2016 with family by her side.
Mary was born Oct. 25, 1925 in Sintaluta, Sask.
Mary was joined in marriage to James Barnard and they had six children, Shirley (Jerome) of Dryden, Ont., Denis (Colleen) of Fort Frances, Ont., Rennie of Fort Frances, Ont., and Vickie (Orest) of Dryden.
She also is survived by eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mary was predeceased by her husband,Jim; daughter, Wendy; son, Jim (Arnellda); and grandsons, Rennie Jr. and Paul.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 7, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Northridge Funeral Home in Emo, Ont., with Pastor Ken Johnson officiating.
Interment will take place in the Barwick Cemetery at a later date.
