Martha Ovidia Hagen, 86, passed away peacefully on Monday, Jan. 16, 2006 at the Emo Health Centre in Emo, Ont., where she had resided happily for the past three-and-a-half years.
She was born Feb. 9, 1919 in Maddock, N.D.
Martha is survived by her dear sister, Cora Olstad; loving children, Janice (Paul) DeGagne, Bob (Jackie), Barbara Mallory, Larry (Sherin), and Mark (Karen); grandchildren, Dawn Marie, Annette, Darren, Ann Marie, Shawn, Neil, Angela, Robin, Tricia, Melissa, Jeff, Scott, and Jessica; great-grandchildren, Natalie, Noah, Paige, Callie, Simone, Chantel, Kevin, Shae, Chad, Jaymi, Dalton, Griffin, Jordan, and Taylor; as well as many other cherished family members and friends.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, Earl in 1983; son, Everett in 1959; son-in-law, Lorne; grandsons, Paul and Brent; and great-granddaughter, Corinn.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Jan. 19, 2006 at 2 p.m. at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances, Ont. Pastor David Gallas will officiate, with interment in the Barwick Cemetery in the Township of Chapple, Ont.
Friends may visit half-an-hour before the service.
The pallbearers will be Darren Morrison, Neil Hagen, Scott Hagen, Gordon Hoskins, Cliff Hagen, and Ed Halvorsen.
