MARK ANGUS

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Mark Angus, aged 55m announces his passing on September 12, 2022, in Surrey, N.D.

Mark was born on December 7, 1966, to Don and Sharon Angus in Fort Frances, Ont.

He worked at Busch’s Auto Supplies in Fort Frances where he was a Service Manager for 25+ years. He later moved on to work as a Service Manager for E. Bourassa & Sons in Weyburn, Sask., and finally at Northern Plains Equipment in Minot, N.D. He was proud to have gone into the farming equipment sector with practically no knowledge in the field. He strove for excellence in customer service and management, and was highly regarded by his employer, employees, and customers.

Mark could make friends anywhere he went; he was the life of the party. He created great memories with friends and family hunting, fishing, boating, entertaining, cooking, golfing, and travelling. He will be remembered for his quick wit, loud laugh, and zest for life.

Although in recent years he lived in North Dakota, Fort Frances was home. Being with his family and spending time at the Angus family cabins on Northwest Bay warmed his heart. Becoming a grandpa (Papa) was a highlight in his life. Jessie held a special place in his heart.

Mark will be loved and missed by his wife Jenny; daughter Amanda Angus (Dan Arcand), and granddaughter Jessie Arcand; mother Sharon Angus; brother Wayne Angus (Cheryl), and nephews Jeff (Rhianna), Jason, Joey, and Justin; sister Lisa Armstrong (Rob), and niece Alyssa; brother John Angus (Lisa), and nephews Austin and Tanner; mother-in-law Pat Delapp; step-children Casey Overson (Mike), Marissa Larson; step-grandchildren Shaylynn, Nova, Kayden, Laya, Jeffrey, Astrid, and Shaw; sister-in-law Tina Frank (Gup); and brother-in-law Tim Everett (Cherae). He is also survived by his aunts and uncles, Merle Warner; Bev Angus; Linda Hill (Len); as well as numerous cousins that he loved to spend time with.

He was predeceased by his father Donald Angus; uncles and aunts Ted and Connie Avis, Marion and Bill Reece, Larry Angus, Alan Warner, Bill Miller; grandparents Derward and Helma Angus, Sid and Virginia Avis (John Reid Sr.)

A celebration of life will be held in Fort Frances at the Legion on Friday, September 23, 2022, from 3:00-5:00 p.m. A few words and memories will be shared beginning at 4:00 p.m.
