Marjorie J. Johnson, 91, of Ray, Mn., passed away Sunday, March 12, 2017 at the Littlefork Care Center.
She was born Nov. 14, 1925 in Fort Frances, Ont. and was united in marriage to Valio Herold Johnson.
She enjoyed gardening, walking in the woods, and skiing. Her family and friends were very dear to her.
She also volunteered for many luncheons and her favourite was the hunters’ suppers.
Marjorie was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Winnifred Sullivan; husband, Valio H. Johnson; brother, William Sullivan; and sisters, Patricia Haglund and Phyllis Kaviuk.
She is survived by her son, John Valio (Carol) Johnson; grandchildren, Amanda J. Johnson, Anthony J. Johnson, Tonja J. Henjum, and Cassandra E. Henjum; and great-grandchildren, Ariana Johnson, Serenity Johnson, Taylor J. Henjum, and Kyndra Jumper.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, March 16, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the Northwoods Bible Church in Ray, Mn.
Interment will be in the Ray Cemetery at a later date.
