Marion Paul Hoover, of 600 Eby Rd., Shiloh, Ohio, who was born Nov. 19, 1937, passed away Nov. 8, 2004 at the age of 66 years, 11 months, and 20 days.
He was a member of the Woodlawn Mennonite Church, where he served as minister.
He was the son of the late W. Paul and Myrtle (Good) Hoover.
He is survived by his wife, Wilma (Horst) Hoover, whom he married July 27, 1950; 10 sons, Richard (Rose) of Martinsburg, Penn., John (Agnes) of Leetonia, Ohio, Lynn (Rosene) of Kenton, Ohio, Roger (Brenda) of Orrville, Ohio, Dennis (Roberta) of Neshkoro, Wis., Duane (Sharon) of Neshkoro, Wis., Dean (Lovisa) of Earlton, Ont., Philip (Miriam) of Shiloh, Ohio, Joseph of Shiloh, Ohio, and Mark (Ella Joy) of Rawlins, Wyoming; and four daughters, Rhonda (Titus) Rudolph of Arcadia, Fla., Regina of Shiloh, Ohio, Martha of Shiloh, Ohio, and Lois (Brian) Burkholder of Benton, Ill.
Also surviving are 55 grandchildren; three brothers, David, Elvin, and Clarence, all of Goshen, Ind.; and two sisters, May (Mrs. Ted BeMiller) of Wakarusa, Ind. and Rhoda (Mrs. Roy Martin) of Nappanee, Ind.
He was predeceased by an infant brother and a granddaughter, Shannon Hoover.
Marion and his family resided near Barwick, Ont. from 1969 to 1980, where he served as minister at the Pineview Mennonite Church. He also owned and operated Hoover’s Country Butcher Shop during those years.
