MARION CHARLES BEBEE

Marion Charles Bebee, 66, of Fort Frances, Ont., passed away Monday, Oct. 19, 1998 in Fort Frances.
Having been predeceased by his parents, Carl and Ida in 1941 and 1939, Marion was raised by foster parents, the Hannahs, in Fort Frances until 1951.
He had lived and worked with his sister, Mabel and her husband, William Hele, from 1951 until 1972 in North Branch as a logger and farm worker. He subsequently went to work for Keith Hele until 1975 as a logger. He was later employed by Alton Pollard as a logger from 1975 until 1982.
When illness overtook him in 1982, he moved to the White Pine Inn in Fort Frances, where he resided until his death.
Marion is survived by three brothers, Kenneth Bebee of Atikokan, Ont., Arthur Bebee of Portland, Ore., and Bud (Leroy) Bebee and wife, Lillian, of Toronto, Ont.; and two sisters, Donna Kearney of British Columbia, and Verda Foeller and husband, Dennis, of Orangeville, Ont.
Also surviving is a sister-in-law, Ruth Bebee; his close nephew, Keith Hele and wife, Betty, of Kenora, Ont.; as well as numerous other nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Carl and Ida; sister, Mabel Hele; brothers, Earl, Wesley, and Richard Bebee; sister-in-law, Mary Bebee; and brother-in-law, William Hele.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Oct. 27, 1998 at 10:30 a.m. at Green Funeral Home. Rev. Patrick Playfair officiated, with interment in Pineridge Cemetery in North Branch, Ont.
Pallbearers were Alton Pollard, Allan Seed, John Gustafson, Bill Bailey, Gus Martel, and Ed Kivimaki.
