It is with sorrowful hearts that we, the family of Marge Georgina Williams (nee Calder), announce her passing on Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2007 at Riverside Health Care Facilities, Inc. in Fort Frances, Ont.
Marge was born in Fort Frances on Aug. 4, 1921 to Isabelle and Valley Calder, and lived in the area all her life. On July 6, 1945, she married the love of her life, Myron Williams.
She made a great impact on the lives of her family and many friends. She enjoyed the time she spent with them, and in her later life especially enjoying her young great-grandchilidren.
She had a great faith in God and attended church regularly.
Marge is survived by her son, Warren and wife, Janet Williams; grandson, Myron Jr. (Kathy) Williams; granddaughter, Carla (Matt) Jackson; and great-grandchildren, Steven, Brittany, Cassandra, Amber, Courtney, and Christopher.
She also is survived by her sisters, Jane (Jim ) McLeod, Phyllis Shine, Mildred (Roland) Coulombe, and Florence Hill; brother, Gordon (Charlotte) Calder; brother-in-law, Ellis Williams; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Marge was predeceased by her husband, Myron Williams; parents, George Valentine and Isabel Jane Calder; sisters, Violet Cameron and Melvina Doupe; and brothers, George Calder and Gary Calder.
Cremation has taken place at the Rainy River Cremation Service in International Falls, Mn.
A celebration of her life was held Saturday, March 3, 2007 at 10 a.m. at St. John’s Anglican Church in Fort Frances, with Fr. Wayne McIntosh officiating.
Interment will take place in Riverview Cemetery in Fort Frances at a later date.
The honourary pallbearers were her great-grandchildren, Steven, Brittany, Cassandra, Amber, Courtney, and Christopher.
