Margaret Robertson, 81, of 901 Shevlin Ave. Fort Frances, Ont., passed away Monday, Aug. 11, 1997 at La Verendrye Hospital in Fort Frances.
Margaret was born March 9, 1916 in Fort Frances to the late Wellington and Edith bishop. In January, 1938, she was united in marriage to Percy Robertson. Her main interests were crafts and her family.
She was predeceased by her husband, Percy, in 1963.
Margaret is survived by sons, Earl and wife, Gladys, of Fort Frances, Ont., and Lloyd and family of Vancouver, B.C.; daughters, Betty Gallow and family of Fort Frances, Ont., and Rose Kreger and family of Bergland, Ont.; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She also is survived by her sister, Helen and husband, Charlie Hammond, of Fort Frances, Ont.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
At Margaret’s request, a private graveside service was held Wednesday, Aug. 13, 1997 at Riverview Cemetery in Fort Frances.
