Mrs. Margaret Kangas (nee Douglas), 55, a resident of Thunder Bay, Ont., passed away peacefully in the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre on Sunday, Feb. 9, 2014 after a brief battle with cancer.
Margaret will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Juha; children, Jonathon (Jess) and Shawna (Roman); grandson, Jeremey; parents, Sterling and Fern Douglas; brothers, Patrick (Linda), Sandy, Stephen (Kim), and Bill (Shelley); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Margaret was predeceased by her brother, Shawn.
A private memorial service will take place at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations may be made to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Foundation-Northern Cancer Fund.
