MARGARET IRENE McCORMICK

It is with great sorrow the family announces the passing of Margaret Irene McCormick on June 22, 2013 at the age of 95.
Marg was born Nov. 29, 1917 to William George and Ester Louise Wilson.
She was united in marriage to Edward (Ted) McCormick on Aug. 25, 1937.
Marg was predeceased by her parents; husband, Ted, in 1987; son, Alan, in 2009; daughter, Marilyn, in 2013; daughters-in-law, Eva and Mabel; and son-in-law, George Arden.
She also was predeceased by her siblings, Ralph, Tom, Elizabeth, Ethel, Millie, and Janet.
Margaret is survived by her sons, Jack of Peterborough, Ont., Cliff (Lorraine) and Tom (Joanne), all of Pinewood, Ont., Len (Gail) of Devlin, Ont., Barry (Linda) of Foxboro, and Brian of Mine Centre, Ont.; daughters, Cheryl (Ken) Hughes of Fort Frances, Ont. and LeeAnn Arden of Coe Hill; and son-in-law, Brian Peacock.
Marg also is survived by 29 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
At mom’s request, there will be no service.
Cremation has taken place, and a private family interment will take place at Burriss Cemetery at a later date.
