MARGARET ELIZABETH DOUGLAS

In loving memory of Margaret Douglas, 90, of Fort Frances, Ont., who passed away peacefully at Rainycrest Home for the Aged on Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2002.
Margaret was born July 27, 1912 in Lacombe, Alta. to Alfred and Helena Fraser. As an infant, her family moved to Keewatin.
She attended North Bay Normal School, and then taught in Keewatin and spent one year at the Morson School.
She was married to Campbell (C.B.) Douglas in 1938 and together they moved to Fort Frances. Margaret taught at the separate school in the early 1960s.
She was a member of Sister Kennedy Centre and loved to play bridge.
Margaret was predeceased by her parents, Alfred and Helena Fraser; husband, C.B. Douglas on May 28, 1991; granddaughter, Allyson; sister, Eleanor and her husband, Art Welch; and brother, Willard Fraser.
She leaves behind her children, Malcolm and wife, Ruby, of Fort Frances, Ont., Judith McQuarrie of Winnipeg, Man., Fraser of Thunder Bay, Ont., and Allan and wife, Shelly, of Winnipeg, Man.; grandchildren, Donald, Sandra, Carole, Sheryl, Sean, Sheila, Chris, Branden, and Dustin; and 11 great-grandchildren.
A private family service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests in memoriam donations be made to the Rainycrest Auxiliary, 550 Osborne Ave., Fort Frances, Ont., P9A 3T2.
