With deepest sorrow, we regret the passing of Lynn Richard Gosselin, a longtime resident of Winnipeg, Man.
Lynn was born Sept. 16, 1952 in Fort Frances, Ont.
He loved his work as a concrete specialist for 39 years. In his younger years, he loved hockey, but his true passion was fishing and hanging out with the Crete Hogs.
Lynn leaves to mourn his six children, Tracey (Leroy) Gosselin of Kouyuquat, B.C., Tara Gosselin of Edmonton, Alta., Tanya (Randy) Gosselin of Winnipeg, Man., Tina Gosselin of Campbell River, B.C., and Tanner and Michelle Gosselin of Winnipeg, Man.
He is survived by his parents, Fred and Evelyn Gosselin of Fort Frances, Ont.; along with three brothers, Carey (Cindy) Gosselin of Fort Frances, Ont., Fred Gosselin of McClennan, Alta., and John (Cindy) Gosselin of Windsor, Ont.; and four sisters, Judy Klem, Cindy (Brian) Hall, and Lori (Gary) Durbin, all of Fort Frances, Ont., and Tamara (Mike) Beyak of Thunder Bay, Ont.
Lynn also is survived by 11 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; as well as his best buddies, Rick (Bice) Chymy of Dryden, Ont. and Vic (Diane) Robertson of Winnipeg, Man., and a very special cousin, Lorraine of Winnipeg, Man.
He was predeceased by his grandchild, Tiffany Jack; and his grandparents, Fred and Elizabeth Gosselin, Henry Jonassen, and (Helga) Victoria Milizia.
A memorial service will be held for family and friends on Saturday, Jan. 17, 2009 at 1 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion in Fort Frances, Ont.
In lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
