Lynette Vien, late of Regina, Sask., passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 23, 2003 at the age of 78.
She was predeceased by her parents, Jack and Matilda Craigen; her first husband and father to their children, Carl Kistner; her second husband, Joe Vien; her special pet, Dudley; and sisters, Marguerite Grinsell, Mary Callaghan, Evelyn Poirier, Geraldine Berglund, Irene McKay, Stella Craigen, and Adeleen Craigen.
Lynette is lovingly remebered by her children, Carolyn (Garth) Chatterson of Regina, Sask., Lynn Kistner of Creston, B.C., and Laurine (Helmut) Schuster of Winnipeg, Man.
She also is lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Mandy, Angela, and Alissa Chatterson, Carl Kistner and Betsy Kistner (Daryl Fedorwich), and Helmut Schuster Jr. and Peter (Janette) Schuster; great-grandchildren, Matty, Frankie, Kelsey, Justin, Brett, Maia, Sophie, and Ethan; sisters, Elaine Broomfield and Gen Gudmundson; and dear cousin, Lenore Gustafson.
Lynette resided in Fort Frances prior to moving to Regina. She spent much of her time with her family. She enjoyed visiting and everyone was always welcomed in her kitchen.
She will be missed very much by her family.
A memorial service was held Monday, July 28, 2003 at the Regina Funeral Home, with Rev. Sathyadas Antony officiating.
In lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan or the Regina Humane Society.
