The Creator brings us into this world and will take us when it is our time.
He will bring happiness and joy to all. When He takes us, it is not a time to mourn but a time to celebrate.
Our late mother, Lou, who enjoyed spending time with her sons, Michael and Murray; grandchildren, Jaclyn, David, Tyson, and Autumn, along with her two great-grandchildren, Caleb and Olivia, would not wish for us to mourn.
She would prefer that we remember the good times we have had with her.
She will be sadly missed now that she has gone on to a better place.
Her two sisters, Minnie and Nora, along with brother, Peter, and their families always will remember and hold a special place in their hearts for Lou.
Lou has moved on to join the other family members who have been accepted by the Creator: her parents, Margaret and Lute; brother, Mike, and wife, Delia; daughter-in-law, Denise; nieces, Luanne and Sas (her husband, Wayne); and Nick, who also was taken from us to enjoy what the Creator has planned for them.
We are not going to mourn but we will go on enjoying the memories we have.
There will not be a funeral. Rather, we will enjoy a gathering and social time at the Sunset Country Métis Hall in Fort Frances at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 29, 2013.
