LORNA LILIAN COULSON

Lorna Lilian Coulson passed away quietly, with her family by her side, at the Joseph Creek Village in Cranbrook, B.C. on Thursday, Oct. 27, 2011 at the age of 98.
Lorna was born Sept. 21, 1913, in Burriss, Ont. She married Wilfred Ryerson Coulson on Oct. 17, 1934 in Fort Frances, Ont.
Lorna leaves to cherish her memory four sons, Clayton (Marilyn) of Provo, Utah, Larry of Cranbrook, B.C. (Kathy of Winnipeg, Man.), Gerald of Oliver, B.C., and Doug (Linda) of Castlegar, B.C.; three daughters, Shelva (Ray) of Cranbrook, B.C., Karen (David) Kannegeiser of Thunder Bay, Ont., and Sandra (Ron) Cenerini of Atikokan, Ont.; and son-in-law, Wally Davidson, also of Atikokan, Ont.
She was blessed with 25 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.
Lorna was predeceased by her husband, Wilfred, in 1997; daughter, Linda Davidson; parents, John and Mae Leveridge; her sister, Alice Corrigan; brother-in-law, Elmer Corrigan; and two brothers, Aubrey and Clarke Leveridge.
Lorna was a hard-working and patient mother. She was lovingly devoted to her family and to her church.
She loved to crochet, quilt, and knit, as well as play the piano, and was an excellent cook.
A funeral service was held Friday, Nov. 4, 2011 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Sparwood, B.C., conducted by Bishop Raymond Kitt.
Interment was held at the Rivercrest Cemetery.
