With deep sorrow, the family of Loretta Gladys McCormack announces her peaceful passing on Friday, Dec. 30, 2016 at La Verendrye Hospital in Fort Frances, Ont.
Loretta was born Nov. 17, 1943 in Fort Frances.
Her love of children and family was well-known to all who were touched by her. Her home always was open to not only family and friends, but also to her children’s friends (who she was known as “Mom”), her numerous foster children, and her daycare children (who many referred to her as “Grandma”).
Loretta will be lovingly remembered by her children, Kent McCormack, Marla Baker, and Rosanne (Réal) DeGagné; grandchildren, Kendra McCormack (Aaron Grahl), Monique (Garrick) Isensee, Dustin McCormack, Jessica Bekesi, and Elizabeth, Aidan, Christen, and Gabrielle DeGagné; great-grandchild, Owen Isensee; and numerous extended family members.
A time of fellowship will take place Friday, Jan. 6, 2017 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church hall in Fort Frances for family and friends.
