Lora Alexis Sinclair, 17, of South Haven, Mn., passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on Saturday, July 17, 2010 at The Buffalo Hospital in Buffalo, Mn. after a long battle with Muscular Dystrophy.
She was born Dec. 12, 1992 in Fort Frances, Ont. and lived in South Haven.
Our Lora was one-of-a-kind. She loved concerts, music, dancing, fishing, and hunting.
Most of all, she loved her family and friends. They made her the happiest and she loved them all.
We loved her. She is going to be forever in our hearts!
This fall, Lora would have been a senior at Annandale High School in Annandale, Mn.
Lora is survived by her mother, Tracy, and stepfather, John Quirk; father, Brad Sinclair and partner, Roberta; brother, Andrew (Rita) Dougherty and niece, Alissa; and grandparents, Jim and Marcy Isaacson, Bill and Mary Ellen Sinclair, and Tom and Marlene Quirk.
Also surviving are her auntie, Amie (Mark) Pivec; uncle, John Dougherty; uncle, Jesse (Cherrie) Belanger; auntie, Kathi (Donnie) Tucker; uncle, Mike (Brenda) Sinclair; auntie, Kari (Kevin) McLean; auntie, Nicki (Jim) Sandelovich; and her many special cousins and friends.
She was predeceased by her grandparents, Ray and Sue Dougherty; auntie, Phyllis Quirk; Grandpa Dick and Grandma Kate Norris; Grandma Helen Sinclair; and uncle, Sheldon Mosbeck.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, July 21, 2010 from 4-8 p.m. at the Peterson Chapel, 119 Central Ave., in Buffalo, Mn.
Further visitation will be held at the church on Thursday, July 22, 2010 beginning at 9 a.m.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 22, 2010 at 11 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Annandale, Mn.
A luncheon will follow.
A visitation also will be held Friday, July 23, 2010 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Green-Larsen Mortuary in International Falls, Mn., followed by interment at 1:30 p.m. in Forest Hill Cemetery.
