Lois Nikkel (nee Kelso), 74, formerly of Fort Frances, Ont. and Gimli, Man., went to her eternal rest on Monday, Dec. 28, 2009 at the Charleswood Care Centre in Winnipeg, Man.
She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Edward Nikkel of Winnipeg, Man.; daughter, Linda Nicolson of Winnipeg, Man. and son-in-law, Bill Kalturnyk of Winnipeg, Man.; two sons, Grant (Barb) Nicolson of Winnipeg, Man. and Bill (Charlene) Nicolson of Fort Frances, Ont.; and two grandsons, Donald and James Nicolson.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Donald Ian Nicolson.
Cremation has taken place.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Jan. 2, 2010 at 2 p.m. at the Charleswood United Church (4820 Roblin Blvd.), with ash interment at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations may be made in Lois’ memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
