It is with great sadness that the family of Lois Mary Brusven announces her passing, after a courageous battle with cancer, on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at the Emo Health Centre in Emo, Ont.
Lois was born on April 26, 1945 to Leslie and Mildred Angus (nee Watts).
She was united in marriage to Gene Brusven on July 15, 1963. She worked at the Emo Health Centre for 32 years until her retirement in 2005.
Left to mourn her loss are her husband, Gene Brusven; sons, Doug (Sharon) and Dan Brusven; sisters, Rita Westover and Joyce (Len) Jackson; grandchildren, Melissa (Travis), Jennifer, Tyler, Kendra, and Cedar; and great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Kailyn, Peyton, Tyson, Teara, and JeyCee.
Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Lois was predeceased by her parents, Leslie and Mildred Angus; brothers, John, Ellwood, Russel, and Arnold Angus; and sister, Dorothy Thompson.
There will be a private family gathering at a later date.
