LOIS LAVERNE DALSEG

In loving memory of Lois Laverne Dalseg, who passed away suddenly Friday, Jan. 28, 2000 at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg, Man. at the age of 56.
She was predeceased by her parents, Edmond and Florence Veillieux; husband, Dennis on Oct. 27, 1998; and sister, Mary Arylene Dutilleo.
Lois will be greatly missed by her children, Lorelei (Chris) Shebagegit of Nestor Falls, Ont., and Darrell (Jill) Lind of Winnipeg, Man.; grandchildren, Kevin (Christine) Lind, Chelsea Lind, Samantha Lind, and Kyle Shebagegit; and great-grandsons, Bradley and Jordan Lind.
She also will be greatly missed by her brother, Raymond Veillieux of Fort Frances, Ont.; sisters, Catherine (Helmer) Bergland of Thunder Bay, Ont., and Larrayne Muloin of Fort Frances, Ont.; brother-in-law, Alphonse Dutilleo of North Bay, Ont.; mother and father-in-law, Jack and Phyllis Dalseg of Nestor Falls, Ont.; sister-in-law, Cathy (Ben) Hamel of Edmonton, Alta.; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Lois was born Dec. 31, 1943 in Fort Frances and she lived most of her life in this area. She was united in marriage to her late husband, Dennis, on Oct. 14, 1978.
Lois was an ambulance attendant for Nestor Falls for many years. She also worked at the family IGA, and for the past several years owned and operated the Angler’s Pro Shop.
She loved the outdoors, spending time with family, friends, and her animals. She was especially close to her niece, Cathy.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 5, 2000 at 2 p.m. at Nestor Falls United Church in Nestor Falls, with Mariam Bowlby officiating.
Cremation will take place, followed by interment in the spring in the Norman D. Cottam Memorial Gardens in Nestor Falls.
Friends may visit prior to funeral services Saturday at the Nestor Falls United Church.
Pallbearers will be Leo Muloin Sr., Leo Muloin Jr., Alphonse Dutilleo, Howard Dodd, Lee Mulitor, and Tim Benson.
Honourary pallbearers will be Pat Benson, Gay Donna Baker, Raili Dodd, Elaine Altbauer, Penny O’Leary, Sandy Frazier, Larrayne Muloin, Ray Veillieux, Catherine Bergland, and Kitty Binkle.
