Linda Jean Burnet

Linda J. Burnet passed away unexpectedly Saturday, June 22, 2002 in Fort Frances, Ont.; her husband of 36 years, R.J., at her side.
Linda was born in St. Thomas, Ont. 57 years ago. She was raised by Harold and Jean Winter from Tillsonburg.
She is survived by her immediate family, twin sister, Joan Mahony of Tillsonburg; and two brothers, Ted Winter of Ingersoll, Ont. and Tom Winter of Barrie, Ont.
Linda also is survived by her extended family, sisters, Audrey Burrows of Toronto and Lucille Beer of Hensall; brothers, Gordon Groves of Ingersoll and Doug Wilson of Ingersoll; and birth mother, Winifred Wilson of Ingersoll.
Linda was an educator whose motto was “children come first.” This belief became her creed and helped her while performing the various tasks of teachers, principal, director, consultant, and owner of “Impact Education in Fort Frances.”
She touched many lives and will be truly missed.
In lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
