Lillian Larson, 66, of Roy Street, Emo, Ont., passed away Wednesday, Nov. 11, 1998 with her family at her side at Riverside Health Care Facilities in Fort Frances.
She was born Aug. 7, 1932 at Finland, Ont.
Lillian was a long-time resident of Emo, having lived there since 1952. She enjoyed gardening and canning vegetables. She also loved to go to garage sales.
Lillian was united in marriage April 14, 1950 to Ingvald, who predeceased her Dec. 27, 1988.
She is survived by daughters, Doreen and husband, Vern Thompson, of Emo, and Marlene and husband, Sam Visser, of Emo; son, Leonard and wife, Suzanne, of Crozier; sons, Donald and Alfred of Emo; four grandchildren, Richard, Darwin, Brenda, and Charlene; and one great-grandson, Jaryd.
Also surviving are six sisters, Lila Hannien of Dryden, Irene of Fort Frances, Hellen and husband, Jack Watson, of Winnipeg, Man., Ellen and husband, Melvin Armstrong, of Red Deer, Alta., Ruth and husband, Joe Gray, of Fort Frances, and Edna and husband, Floyd Caul, of Blackhawk; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, John and Elizabeth Johnson; two brothers, William and Eric Johnson; and two sisters, Aino Pelepetz and Hilda Hartlin.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, Nov. 19, 1998 at 3 p.m. at the Emo Legion Br. #99.
