Glieheisen, Lee

Lee Glieheisen, eldest son of Milton Glueheisen and the late Elizabeth (Betty) Glueheisen passed away peacefully at his home in Kenora on July 29, 2020 with his wife Donna by his side.
Lee was born September 27, 1947 and was raised in Fort Frances, graduated from Fort Frances High and completed his RCMP training in Regina in 1971. After leaving the RCMP, Lee worked with Family and Children’s Services in Fort Frances and was truly loved by his clients and staff. After retiring, Lee enjoyed his home and acreage on Commissioner Bay and his cabin on Clearwater Lake. To share in their children’s and grandchildren’s lives, Lee and Donna moved to Kenora.
Lee will be sadly missed by his wife Donna (Colvin); daughter Tara (Ed) Pitre and granddaughters Soleil and Sterling of Kenora; son Kyle (Andrea) Glieheisen and granddaughter Everly of Saskatoon; stepsons Glen (Ann) Colvin of Regina and Mark Colvin of Kenora. He is also remembered by his father Milton Glueheisen and brothers Larry (Shirley), Leonard (Janice) and Lance (Jamie); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his mother Elizabeth Glueheisen and niece Jo-Anna Granholm.
According to Lee’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. Arrangements are under the care of Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Centre of Kenora.
