Leola Mae Krueger, 82, of International Falls, Mn., passed away Thursday, Aug. 2, 2007 at the Good Samaritan Care Center in International Falls.
 Leola was born in International Falls on Oct. 23, 1924 to Leo and Luella Prevost. She graduated from Falls High School in 1943.
    Leola was united in marriage to Earl Krueger on June 17, 1944.
 Leola enjoyed camping, hunting, and fishing. She also loved playing the organ and reading poetry.
    She was predeceased by her parents; brother, Charles Prevost; and sister, Audrey Christianson.
    Leola will be deeply missed by her husband, Earl; sons, Dale (Nancy) Krueger of International Falls, Mn. and Duane (Karen) Krueger of Loman, Mn.; and grandchildren, Michael (Christine) Krueger of Fort Frances, Ont., Linda Davis of International Falls and fiancé Joe Kawulia, and Norman (Andrea) Krueger of Sacred Heart, Mn.
    She also is survived by her brothers Leo Prevost Jr. of International Falls, Mn. and Arthur Prevost of Philadelphia, Penn.; and sisters, Jacquie Ellison of Max, Mn. and Kay Horgen of International Falls, Mn.
    Her great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
    Funeral services will be held Saturday, Aug. 4, 2007 at 2 p.m. at the Green-Larsen Mortuary Memorial Chapel in International Falls, with Ernest Witmer officiating.
    At Leola’s request, there will be no visitation.
    Interment will be in the Forest Hill  Cemetery in International Falls.
