LEE MILLETT

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Lee Harold Millett, 60, of Fort Frances, Ont., on Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2015.
Lee was born in Windsor, N.S. in 1954. He moved to Fort Frances in 1975 and began working at the mill. A few years after that, he met the love of his life, Aimee.
Lee then worked at NorFab for many years, and together he and Aimee built a life and had two daughters, Jaclyn and Roxanne.
They married in 1992, never taking a day with each other for granted.
Lee loved the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. He also loved spending time with his family, spending time in his garage, and had a passion for old cars.
He was a jack of all trades; he could fix just about anything. He also always was willing to teach you something, or lend a helping hand. He never hesitated to help someone in need.
He always had a good joke to tell you, and easily could brighten your day.
Lee’s two grandchildren were so special to him. He was blessed to have both a grandson and granddaughter. He loved taking them for rides on the lawnmower and the four-wheeler, and enjoyed sharing his hobbies with them.
He was very proud of his grandchildren and never passed up the chance to brag about them to someone. His grandchildren will miss him dearly, as he meant to world to them.
Lee was predeceased by his father, Harold Millett, in 1973 and step-father, Ivan Moors, in 2013.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Aimee, two daughters, Jaclyn (Gavin) and Roxanne (Josh); two grandchildren, Alexander and Oasis; mother, Hannah Moors; sisters, Donna and Valerie; brothers, Rocky and Roderick; brother-in-law, Art (Roz); and many nieces, nephews, and his many good friends, especially Mike Morrin and Derm Norman.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances, with the Rev. MJ D. Leewis-Kirk, AOJN officiating.
The honourary pallbearers will be Mike Morrin, Art Rudolph, Derm Norman, Rocky Moors, Roderick Moors, Josh Tucker, Matt Berg, Gavin Stone, Harvey Broesky, Chris Pentney, and Leslie Rudolph.
