LAWRENCE DENNIS (LORNIE) OSTER

The family of Lawrence (Lornie) Oster sadly announces his sudden passing on Monday, Sept. 30, 2013 at the Penticton Regional Hospital in Penticton, B.C.
Born Jan. 25, 1949 and formerly of Fort Frances, Ont., Lornie leaves a loving wife, Ann (nee Scott), also formerly of the Fort Frances area; and two daughters, Tabitha and Evelyn Oster.
Also surviving are two sisters, Donalda (Bob) Friesen of Clairmont, Alta. and Judith (Phil) Redwood of Red Deer, Alta.; two brothers, Terry Oster of Fort Frances, Ont. and Lynn (Karen) Oster of Rainy River First Nations; two half-sisters, Jackie and Karen Garon, both of Fort Frances, Ont.; four grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Lornie was predeceased by his parents, George and Evelyn Oster (nee McMahon); and two brothers, Gerald and Michael Oster.
Cremation took place in Penticton, with no service at Lornie’s request.
He will be greatly missed by his wife, children, family, and friends.
