LAURETTE BOIS (nee COTÉ)

It is with great sadness that the family of Laurette Bois (nee Coté), of Fort Frances, Ont., announces her passing on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at Rainycrest Long Term Care.

Laurette was born June 14, 1940, in Val Coté, Ont., to Alfred and Maria Coté (nee Gosslin). She was married August 1, 1959, to David Bois and moved to Fort Frances in 1969. She worked at the Bayview Motel and Makabi Inn and helped her husband run the family logging business. She enjoyed line dancing, going to The Country Jam in Emo, and going to the Border Bar on Sundays for singing and dancing. She loved to shop. She loved to shop. She loved to shop and going out for coffee with friends. But most of all, she loved to shop. But actually what she loved most of all was spending time with her grandchildren.

Laurette was predeceased by her husband David and son-in-law Leonard Larson. She will be lovingly remembered by her son Gilles (Kathy) Bois; daughter Suzanne Larson; and grandchildren Travis, Eric (Savannah Fortner) and Danielle Bois, and Brandon and Sarah Larson.

A celebration of life will be held Monday, September 26, 2022, from 11:00 – 1:00 p.m. at the Northridge Funeral Home in Emo, Ont., with interment to follow at Burriss Cemetery.

If desired, memoriam donations may be made to the Salvation Army Food Bank.
