LAUREEN McKAY

On Friday, May 31, 2013, a star fell from the sky and the sun has not been as bright ever since, tragically, Laureen was taken from us.
Laureen was born Feb. 16, 1964 in Atikokan, Ont., moving to Fort Frances, Ont. in 1974, where she attended Alberton School and graduated from Fort Frances High School.
She continued her education in Thunder Bay and London, Ont.
Laureen currently was employed at Country View Day Care Centre and Canadian Tire, where she went above and beyond as she always did.
Laureen will be forever cherished by her children, the loves of her life, Carla Marie Hyatt and Nicoleas Stephen McKay-Auger; partner, Michael Caul; loving parents, Wayne and Doreen; siblings, Greg (Lori), Dwayne (Rhonda), and Marlin (Carolyn); her step-children; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 8, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Christian Reformed Church in Emo, Ont., with Rev. Eileen Bragg officiating.
Interment will take place in Burriss Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a trust fund has been put in place at the Toronto Dominion Bank in Fort Frances, or memorial tributes may be forwarded to Northridge Funeral Home, P.O. Box 89, Emo, Ont., P0W 1E0, for Carla and Nicoleas.
