After emergency surgery on Monday, June 17, Laura passed away Friday, June 21, 2013 in Whitehorse, Yukon.
Laura was born May 19, 1963 in Winnipeg, Man.
The family moved to Dryden, Ont. in 1966 and then to Fort Frances, Ont. in 1973. She graduated from Fort Frances High School.
Laura currently was employed by the Government of Yukon, Human Resources.
On July 2, 2005, Laura married Trevor Goodall in Whitehorse. She loved the North Country.
Laura is survived by her husband, Trevor; mother, Marnee Miller of Fort Frances, Ont.; mother-in-law, Yvonne Goodall of British Columbia; aunt, Shirley Richardson of Waterloo, Ont.; and cousins, Sherri Luff, Tom Innes, Caroline Daynes, Michael Innes, Lorne Innes (Martha), and Diane Richardson and their families.
Laura was predeceased by her father, Dr. Douglas Miller (2003); grandparents, Allan and Georgina Miller and Murray and Frances Innes; uncles, Gordon Innes (Margaret) and Bob Richardson; and cousin, Terry Richardson.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, July 13, 2013 in Whitehorse.
In memoriam donations may be made to the Humane Society Yukon or Canadian Cancer Society.
