LARRY COYLE

Peacefully on the evening of Saturday, July 23, 2005, Dad passed away at the age of 65 at Riverside Health Care Facilities surrounded by his family. Larry bravely battled leukemia, always maintaining his sense of humour, courage and positive attitude until the end.
Larry was born on June 23, 1940 in Winnipeg, Manitoba to Edward and Eunice Coyle.
Larry married the love of his life, Linda Sawchuk on April 13, 1980. They moved to their current residence and together raised their three children, Bryce, Tyler and Lindsey.
Larry’s working career began at Westfair Foods for 11 years, Shop Easy for 9 years and finally at the local paper mill for 29 years. He retired from Abitibi Consolidated on January 1, 2004.
Dad loved all aspects of the outdoors; moose hunting, fishing, gardening. He took great pride in his beloved rose garden and lawn. The time spent with his friends and family were his most rewarding experiences.
Larry was deeply involved with his family and community. He attended every sporting event undertaken by his children over the years. He was a member of the Kinsmen Club, the Sportsmen’s Club, and the Riverside Health Care Facilities Board.
Larry, also known as Lars, will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He will be remembered for his sense of humour, for his generous heart, and always assisting those in need of a helping hand.
Larry is survived by his loving wife, Linda, sons, Bryce and Tyler, and his daughter, Lindsey.
Also surviving are brother Thomas of Uxbridge, ON, sister Janice (Gerry) of Vancouver, BC; mother-in-law, Anne Sawchuk of Sleeman, ON; brother-in-laws, Herb (Sue) Sawchuk of Chesterfi eld, Michigan, Ken (Louise) Sawchuk of Atikokan, ON, Bob Sawchuk of Sleeman, ON,
Harry Jr. (Barb) Sawchuk of Ear Falls, ON; sister-in-law, Patti Sawchuk of Winipeg, MB and many nieces and nephews, family and friends.
Larry was predeceased by his parents Edward and Eunice Coyle and father in law Harry Sawchuck.
Honourary pallbearers will be Tom Foley, Larry Buttner, John Johnson, Robin Wright, Ross Keeler and Don Canfield.
Funeral service will be held at St. Mary’s Church on Friday, July 29, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Francis Pudicherry officiating.
